We are looking for a Full-Time Food Runner with prior fine dining experience.
Our ideal candidate would have experience working in a fast paced, fine dining restaurant.
Candidate must have a passion for food and wine and the desire to create an amazing dining experience for our guests.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Handle all kitchen requests in a professional and courteous manner.
Complete knowledgeof the dining room menuFamiliar with kitchen coursing techniquesAbility toset up mail line as it pertains to Executive Chefs specificationsAbility to independently problem solve issues that arise in the kitchen Works with line staff and kitchen to deliver an exceptional dining experienceSincere and warm interaction with all guests and consistent eye contactPerform side work dutiesCommunicate with Chef, Managers and Servers to better serve the guests needs and their requestsKnow menu and be able to answer guest questions about the food and the hotelPerform side work in a timely and accurate mannerSincere and warm interaction with all guests including consistent eye contact with a smileFollow and deliver 5 Star services' standards, delighting guests by anticipating their needsESSENTIAL WORK SKILLS:
Set up of mail line in preparation for meal serviceProper breakdown of kitchen line at service endAdhere to side work requirements as set forth by restaurant managersUniform cleanliness and proper attire at all times without exceptionMaintain and follow high safety standards and personal conductFollow Company policies and procedures as established in the Employee HandbookComply with the attendance policy and specially meal breaks and rest breaks, reporting any discrepancies to managementEmbrace Cavallo Point Approachable Luxury Philosophy and Values, creating legendary memories with passion.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
3 years of fine dining experience as a Food Runner or Server Assistant High School diploma or equivalent preferredAbility to speak Spanish is preferableProficient conversational and written EnglishAble to stand and walk, and moving for long periods of timeAbility to lift 45 pounds or moreMust have valid Food Handlers Certificate within 30 days of hireAbout Our BenefitsHere are some of the benefits available to qualifying employees:
