As the Director of Enrollment and Outreach, you will lead a collaborative effort to develop and implement both short-term and long-term strategies to ensure Spectrum Center Schools meets enrollment objectives.
The Director of Enrollment and Outreach seeks to achieve personal, regional, and company goals through servant leadership and the building of positive, professional, and productive relationships with all stakeholders.
In collaboration with the Regional Vice President of Operations and School-based Leadership, the Director of Enrollment and Outreach leads, manages, and evaluates the student enrollment process from initial inquiry through admissions to assimilation into Spectrums school culture.
Along with process management, the position provides creative oversight, in keeping with the school's mission, to attract, enroll, and retain students.
? Responsibilities Include:
Representing Spectrum and Chancelight Education to the community and with prospective families while communicating the Spectrum School mission.
Engaging and informing prospective parents and students about Spectrum and the benefits of a Spectrum Center School education.
Attracting prospective students and families to actively participate in admissions events including:
individual and group tours, open houses, student shadow visits, curricular information sessions, parent to parent connections, and individual family conversations.
Responding to all new student inquiries with the goal of cultivating relationships with students and families.
Managing the admissions process from first inquiry to intake to enrollment.
Collaborating with site-based leadership to schedule interviews for prospective families and provide tours of the campus (both individual and small group).
Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with community stakeholders including but not limited to:
area schools (similar private/nonpublic schools), therapists, physicians, pediatricians, parent support groups, related organizations, governmental agencies, etc.
and create networking opportunities.
Attending/exhibiting at applicable conferences or marketing events to promote the school and establish positive community relationships (which may occur outside of normal business hours including nights and weekends).
Leading and developing a communication plan with prospective families to move them from inquiry to enrollment.
Overseeing and participating in the development of admissions materials, events, and marketing tools/practices.
Coordinating systematic and efficient handling of applications and communications with parents to ensure a smooth admissions process.
Collaborating with school-based leadership to manage retention efforts.
Managing and supporting the financial aid process and participate in policy decisions, messaging/communications, award review meetings, etc.
Maintaining appropriate admissions and enrollment data and evaluate the effectiveness of the enrollment process.
Ensuring fidelity of data and relevant reporting to RVP and site-based leadership.
Educating and enlisting faculty and staff to assist where needed in the admissions process.
Collaborating with site-based leadership to develop a process to assist new students in assimilation to Spectrum Schools.
Developing an annual marketing and enrollment plan to target, nurture, enroll, and retain students to meet campus enrollment objectives.
Maintaining a schedule of periodic contact with current and previous students to ensure satisfaction with services.
Collaborating with site-based leadership and Chancelight Marketing Department on the school's website and social media campaigns.
Participating in the annual budgeting process in collaboration with site-based leadership and supervisor in relation to marketing and outreach.
Collaborating with the RVP of Operations and site-based leadership to assist with campus, regional, and organizational goals and objectives and participates in strategic planning activities.
Ensuring compliance to fiscal business plan by reviewing monthly financial summaries related to marketing, recruitment, and retention to identify and correct operational budget variances.
Attending and participating in school-based and regional leadership when appropriate.
Performing other duties as assigned.
? Qualifications Required:
Bachelors degree or higher in education or related field.
Minimum 2yr's prior experience in a school administrative, staff supervisory, and/or budgetary management role.
Ability to meet state teaching license and/or certification requirements.
Special education certification preferred.
Prior experience working with brand management.
Prior experience in social media and/or website marketing.
Prior experience and proven success in marketing and school enrollment.
Valid state drivers license.
